How do I book a lesson?
Simply call us at Pedals Driving School, and we’ll book you in.
How do I book a test?
First, contact the Transport department in Queensland or New South Wales. Then, once you’ve made your booking, call us and we’ll coordinate with you.
What if I need to cancel my lesson?
Make sure you give us 24 hours of notice if you can. Otherwise, a 50% cancellation fee will apply.
Do you have both Automatic and Manual cars?
Yes, we do. Choose the transmission you want to learn when you book your lesson.
How do I pay for my lessons?
We accept cash or a bank transfer. We’ll talk to you about details when you book.
Can I start the lesson from a location other than home?
Yes, you can be picked up or dropped off anywhere within the service area.
What do I need to bring to a lesson?
Bring your licence and logbook, if you have one. It’s also a good idea to wear sunglasses.
Do I have to wear shoes for the lesson or test?
No, you’re welcome to drive in bare feet. It might be easier, especially while you’re adjusting to the pedals.
Can I use my own car for lessons?
Yes, but we prefer that you use our cars. This is because we have dual control, which means we can help if you make a mistake. Our cars are also fully insured for your financial protection.
Do you offer packages?
Yes, we have several packages to suit your learning plans and budget. You can also purchase a gift voucher for a loved one learning to drive.
Does the transport department supply a car for driving tests?
No, you need to provide a roadworthy car for your driving test. You can use your own, or book our cars.
